STRATEGY 8: Creating Categories

You are done taking notes in your Digital Notebook, and you are ready to organize the information in a Digital Outline.

Open a new text document.
Type Introduction and Conclusion headings.
Save it using the name of your topic, your initials, and the word "Outline" (like "CheetahOutlineDH.doc").

Read the tagged-text in your Digital Notebook.
Type headings in your Digital Outline to create categories.

HINT: Look in your Digital Notebook for the reasons you typed in bold. They will help you choose good categories and headings for your Digital Outline.  

In Strategy 9, you will organize the text you copied from the websites into your Digital Notebook under these headings.
